As promised, here is the recipe for pool room slaw.

canned southern slaw
Ingredients
- 1 gal grated cabbage
- 2 large bell peppers
- 3 large onions
- 3 large carrots
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp cayanne pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
- 3 cups mustard
Instructions
- mix all ingredients together
- cook on stove top about 20 minutes until hot through. stir so mixture won't stick.
- serve or fill prepared mason jars
